Desk Model

Approximately 8–12 inches.

Conference-Table Model

Approximately 12–24 inches.

The primary format for sales meetings, trade shows, training, and launches.

Exhibit Model

Approximately 24–36 inches or larger.

Quoted by project for larger displays, bases, transport, and installation needs.

Start with the best source available.

Customer-authorized CAD or STEP is the best starting point. Approved mesh files, drawings, PDFs, product literature, reference images, or controlled physical access can also support the project. Missing geometry or reconstruction may require paid engineering.

Show what matters. Leave protected details out.

Proprietary mechanisms, controls, customer-specific geometry, and unnecessary internals can be intentionally simplified or omitted.

Larger models can be segmented, keyed, assembled, and finished as one presentation object. Practical size is defined by project. This makes custom industrial scale models useful beyond one build envelope.

Four controlled phases.

The audience, detail, confidentiality boundary, and finish are defined before manufacturing begins.

  1. DEFINE

    Confirm the audience, use, finished size, source data, detail level, and confidentiality boundary.

  2. PREPARE

    Simplify geometry, omit protected details, choose scale, and segment large forms for manufacturing and assembly.

  3. BUILD

    Produce and assemble the model, address seams, add useful hardware, and prepare the display base.

  4. REVIEW & DELIVER

    Review the first article, approve quoted finishing, and prepare the completed model for presentation and delivery.

Assembled & Primed

Manufactured and assembled, with seams addressed as quoted, neutral-gray primer, and a presentation base where included.

Final Finish

Paint, decals, approved branding, plaques, and specialty finishing are quoted separately and may be partner-managed.

Once the model is approved, it is prepared for its intended sales, training, trade-show, executive, or display use. Additional copies or future revisions can be quoted later when they are actually useful.
