Larger geometry
Produce parts that exceed smaller internal equipment within the current 350 × 350 × 350 mm FDM envelope, subject to normal geometry review.
CAPACITY IS OPEN NOW
Your printer is too small, too busy, or not suited to the job. Spark & Spool supports larger parts, specialty materials, overflow quantities, repeat batches, and dedicated-capacity programs from production-ready files.
Applications
Use Spark & Spool as an outside production extension when geometry, schedule, material, detail, or quantity makes the work impractical internally.
Produce parts that exceed smaller internal equipment within the current 350 × 350 × 350 mm FDM envelope, subject to normal geometry review.
Move approved files to outside capacity when internal printers are committed to higher-priority work.
Source and process compatible rigid, flexible, reinforced, outdoor, clear, precision, and specialty materials around the application.
Use 52 µm XY machine/process resolution for compact detail, inspection models, masters, precise interfaces, and presentation parts.
Keep a short run or repeat batch moving without consuming the internal capacity needed elsewhere.
Recurring work can be supported with dedicated equipment and capacity planned around the approved production program.
Technical review
Production-ready overflow work moves fastest when geometry, process expectations, quantity, material, schedule, and acceptance needs are clear at the start.
Confirm the current file revision, overall envelope, orientation-sensitive features, mating interfaces, and any agreed critical dimensions.
Select the compatible material family, grade, color, finish, and process around the intended use and operating environment.
Define first-article quantity, total batch, delivery sequence, deadline, and whether repeat orders are expected.
Agree on the first article, visual or dimensional checks, hardware, finish, packaging, labels, and production records that matter.
Best starting point
Send the production-ready STEP, parametric CAD, or STL files with expected quantity, material, schedule, intended use, and the acceptance information that matters.
Service limits
The 52 µm figure is XY machine/process resolution, not a universal finished-part tolerance. Exact geometry, material behavior, finish, and part suitability are reviewed for the specific application. Safety-critical and regulated applications remain outside scope.
