What we review before quoting.

The review needs more than a model. It needs the task, interfaces, environment, quantity, and the criteria the tool must satisfy in use.

The task

Describe who will use the tool, what step it supports, and what needs to remain repeatable.

Interfaces

Identify the surfaces, parts, equipment, or hand positions the jig or fixture must work around.

Environment

Call out heat, moisture, chemicals, flexibility, and other conditions relevant to material selection.

Pilot and quantity

Confirm how many are needed for the first trial and whether more may be ordered later.

Send a STEP, parametric CAD, or STL file when one exists. Include the intended task, surrounding geometry, quantity, deadline, and acceptance criteria. Clear photos and basic dimensions can start a separate design-support review when there is no usable file.

Machine, finger, sensor, and protective guards are non-safety-critical BY PROJECT only. Soft jaws and hand-press fixtures require load and failure review. Printed aids do not replace machine-guarding compliance, lockout/tagout, operator training, inspection or calibration, or customer system validation.
